Numeracy Reflection W5T3

This is my Understanding of Fractions!

We also completed Basic Facts everyday before the session started

  1. I like your presentation Katelynn, You have shown your understanding of fractions so far, well done! Just remember when you are simplifying fractions you use division because division makes the fraction smaller and that is the idea of simplifying a fraction. You use times to change a fraction, because when you have two fractions to add or subtract with one another you need to make sure the denominator is the same. This is when you can either use times or divided by. You think about common factors of the two numbers. Remember you need to do the same to the numerator and the denominator, but you do not need to do this to both of the fractions you are adding or subtracting.
