Eva Braun Facts

Eva Braun

For one of our activities we had to find out as many facts as we wanted about Eva Braun who was Adolf Hitlers wife in 1945. I found this activitie quite fun and interesting because I found out a lot I didn't know about Eva Braun and her husband Adolf and most of it was quite sad because Adolf Hitler was in charge of the concentration call Auschwitz which in that concentration camp he killed more than 11 million people. Some people in the concentration camp had to burn there family like there Mum, Dad, Sister, Brother... just for the fun it which what the Soldiers totured them with so much other stuff that was WORSE!

If you know anymore facts about Eva Braun, Adolf Hitler or any of the concentration camps I would really amppreciate if you comment down below so I can learn more about WW2!

  1. Hey Katelynn. I LOVE your presentation. It really captured my attention and I can't believe that Hitler and Eva both committed suicide rather than being captured. It's hard to believe the events that happened during World War 2. Do you think that Eva knew everything that Hitler did, or do you think he kept a lot of things from her? Are you enjoying our topic? Keep up the hard work, I am really looking forward to seeing your inquiry questions researched and presented. Miss H

    1. Hello Miss Hines!

Thank you for taking the time to look at my blog and comment, I really appreciate it! I am really enjoying our topic this term! I can't imagine how hard it was for the Jewish People.

Do you think Adolf kept a lot of things from Eva?

I don't think that Adolf Hitler told Eva everything if she did they probably wouldn't have committed suicide and would have agreeded to keep killing the Jews in Auschwitz.

    1. Kia Ora Miss Gibbens!

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to comment on my blog, I really appreciate it!

Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun got married on the 29th April 1945 and they both commited suicide 2 days later to stop themselves from getting captured by the soldiers.

I can't wait to continue researching through this topic and find out more about World War 2 and the concentration camps.

  3. Great presentation Katelynn. You have chosen great colours and your layout is superb! Such an interesting topic. I read a book about the war when I was your age and I still enjoy reading books about how people survived during the wars. My fave series is set in Russia in WW2 and it tells the story about a girl who loses her whole family but she survives through great strength. Good work Katelynn

    1. Bonjour Miss Panther!

Thank you for taking the time to look and comment on my blog! I really appreciate it!

I chose the colours for my slide because I felt like they matched Eva and what she might have worn on a summers day, maybe?

Did you know that around 80 million people died in WW2?

  4. You have created an informative slide presentation about someone I knew little about. I really shy away from the cruelty of the Nazi’s during WWII because it sickens me when I think of the concentration camps. Have you finished ‘The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas ‘? Pretty powerful book eh Katelynn. Miss Hines has really extended your thinking this term. I liked how you really walked in the shoes of the Jews and Germans. My grandad was kept in a German Prison camp for about 18 months and he was so traumatised he couldn’t never talk about it. Such waste don’t you agree?

  5. Kia Ora Mrs O!

Thank you for taking time out of your day to comment or look at my blog! I really do appreciate it!

Have we finished THE BOY IN THE STRIPED PYJAMAS?

No we haven't The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas yet, we almost have but not quite! We are at chapter 12, so far I have found the book really interesting! At the end of chapter 12 something terrible happens to Pavel there family cook. Something so bad it doesn't say in the book, only because his hands were shaking and he spilt the wine all over Kotler.

Jewish and German for a week

Being a Jew or a German for a week was really unfair espically for the Jewish. They had to sit on the floor, pack up the classroom whilst the German sat on chairs and had free time whilst the Jewish were packing up. How unfair is that?

The cruelty of Nazi's during WW2 was horrible, the way the treated the Jews was horrible. I don't have any words to describe how horrible it was.
