I like how this proverb encourages us to remember those who came before us. We can learn so much from our family, and they can learn so much from us. I think this whakataukÄ« is a great reminder to treasure our ancestors, as we wouldn’t be where we are without them.
It’s also nice to see a photo of your family together. Is that your dog Echo? He/she looks very well behaved. Thanks for sharing this blog post Katelynn, you are doing very well :)
