I chose to be Mickey Mouse!!

To piece together my book character costume, Mum and I went to the Salvation Army to get my black top, to the Warehouse to get my black tights and also my shoes which were black and we had to paint them pink and then yellow for my mickey mouse feet.

Mum went on trademe to find my red skirt, which came from Christchurch. I cut out white spots from paper for his buttons on his pants. For my whiskers and nose my Mum drew on me with her eyeliner and we went to Just Incredibles for my ears!!

Iris's farther, Ernest is at the end of his life and she hasn't even met him. Her best friend Thurston is somewhere on the otherside of the world exploring. Everything she new is up in flames. Now Iris's mother wants to get her hands on Ernest's painting collection. There was some things Ernest wanted Iris to kniw before he went and the truth has more than one way of coming to light.

I would give this book a rating of 10 out of 10 stars

I recommend this book for 10-12 years because it is quite small font

Characters:Belinda,Vanessa & Lacey.

 The book was about a girl named Lacey. Lacey went to Australia to be her cousin's flower girl. After she went, her friend Vanessa starts being mean to her calling her names and igorning her when Lacey tried to talk to her. My favourite character is Lacey because she reminds me of me when I'm around my friends.

I would give this book a rating of 20 out of 20 stars it is such a great book!

I recommend this book for 10 to 14 year olds because it is a book with small font.

My Grannys great escape - (Book review)

Characters: Dad,Mum,Granny,Mrs Green jelly,Lancelot,The vicar & Mr tugg

I really like this book because it is funny and it is about 2 Naighbors Mr Tugg,Mrs Green jelly and there neighbors Mum and Dad hate each other until lanceot Mr tuggs Father and Granny like each other and Mr tugg and Dad are forced to like each other. Then Lancelot and Granny escape on a hotair ballon and they can't catch them until the hotair ballon gets a hole in it and it falls down!

I would give this book a rating of 8 out of 10 stars because I think it was way to eas for me.

I recommend this book for 8-9 years
