Week 8 Reflection

Week 8 Reflection 

This week Totara 1 have been working on times tables, subtraction and addition of positive and negative numbers. Then we were given some maths sheets to complete from Miss Power obviously around times tables, subtraction and addition of positive and negative numbers. We have also continued reading The Mines Afire, we then looked at what Greymouth used to look like and what buildings use to be and where they were. I had a lot of fun looking at the buildings and seeing what they used to be and what they are now, I even made a slide with some old buildings and the new buildings. In the weekend I competed in the Moonlight Triathlon with my sister Aimee but we did it separately, I completed the triathlon in 48 minutes.

Literacy/Reading Reflection W9 T3

READING- For my reading follow up we had to buddy up with a buddy,  I buddied up with Cleo and Katelin and we could create any thing to explain what the author's purpose is. I decided we should make a slide and they agreed. So here is the meaning of the authors purpose!

Writing- For my writing I buddy up with Reagan B we had to read a text about embalming and wrapping of a mummie. I chose to read wrapping and Reagan chose to read enbalming this is the information we found we put it into the google drawing which we made a copy of.

Writing- For my writing I buddy up with Reagan B we had to find out information about these 4 things invloving MUMMIES! 

Reading Reflection W7

Reading-For reading we had to read a journal about Goosebumps and butterflies I learnt lots of facts about what happens when we get nervous like when you feel nervous you could feel dizzy, sweaty and shivery!
