Week 4 Reflection T3

Speech Board

This week I had Speech Board, This when you do your speech, Poem and read a passage of a book infront of a Judge. I done my speech on my pet Possum Poppy! I memorised a poem called Murray Had A Turtle with Iris and read a passage from Awful Auntie! 

After sitting in the Library for around an hour we got told our reselts! I got a Highly Commeded that is the 2 Highest!

Also for Numeracy Kyra, Alyssa and I done a Maths Trail!

Literacy Reflection W9T1

Word Work - This week for word work our first task was to decode and use in a sentence. I found this activity easy because we have been doing it for the past few weeks.

I also have done a fun activity, I picked an Acrostic Poem! It was lots of fun!

Writing- For writing this week we have been writing a Camp Reflection! Our walt was to use The 5 w's in our introduction. Then we had to pick one of the 5 w's for example Where then we would write a list of things telling us where we went. Then after you had done that to all the 5w's you could start writing your paragraphs!

Numeracy Reflection W1 T4

Numeracy- For numeracy we are working on Goemetry I am buddied up with Hannah heres what we have learnt so far! I found the food actitiy quite easy! But the compass points wasn't as easy for us.

Olympics Reflection T3W3

Olympics!-This week we have been completing some more Olympics activities. We had to complete 3 more this week so we have completed 5. For my last 3 this week I done Compare and Contrast, Inspirational story and Para athlete. I found it difficult to find some imfomation because you had to double check if it said the right thing. All the Web sites I used worked realy well and told me lots of imfomation about that Athletes.

Reflection W6

Literacy- For literacy we had to practice writing an article off kiwi kids news and we had to write about it. Click here to read all about it!. Then we had to write and article about something we have made up mine is called "Greymouth river overflows onto cobeden brige". Click Here! to read it.

Numeracy- This is my screen castify to working out this problem. Here is my screencastify! My problem was 82-28 and we could change it to 82+28 and I done plus because it is easer .

Reading-For reading we are learning summarise and squence events we had to do that in our writing about May breaks temperture records that article-Click Here!


Shanty Town- On Thurs M3 went to learn some more about Shantytown. I learnt that everybody has to do some bartering which is like trading!

Week 8 Reflction

Topic

I learnt how to use a blog and inbed a slide and I have also learnt that you need to have a good quailty post every time. You publish something on your blog so everyone can see your work.


Literacy

I have learnt all the things we use water for this week and there are some pretty cool things water does.
