2nd Cell Phone Argument

Last week we started planning our second argument. We then began writing it, I found writing this argument a little easier than the other one because kids should definitely not have cell phones at school let alone before they turn 13.

For the past week we have been writing a argument on whether children under the age of 13 should have a cell phone. I believe they shouldn't have a cell phone. I got my first cell phone when I was 12, I am now 13 and think that when you turn 13 you should have a cell phone.

Diary Entry - The Mines Afire!

This week we have continued reading 'The Mines Afire!'. The task for this week was to pretend you were either a son, daughter, brother or sister of a miner who has unfortunately passed away from the mine and write a diary entry saying how your feeling, how your Ma is coping and what has happened the past view days. I chose to be a daughter from a family of 4 siblings and parents. I wrote about the explosion and then the funeral. Stella Addington is just a person I made up, she is not real. I had a lot of fun writing a diary entry and would like to write another one from a brothers perspective. Would you like to write a diary entry? Numeracy Reflection W1 T4

Numeracy- For numeracy we are working on Goemetry I am buddied up with Hannah heres what we have learnt so far! I found the food actitiy quite easy! But the compass points wasn't as easy for us.

Literacy- For literacy we also had to write a draft piece of writing explaning how somethings happen. I done a life cycle of a butterflie. I found this easy and some bits hard because butterflys have lots of different parts in there life.

 Writing- This week we finished our explanation writing! We also had to record ourselves reading our introduction! First we had to buddy up and read our writing to our buddy then they would say where they think you are and they would highlight the things you done right in green and the things you didn'y do correctly in light pink!
