Numeracy Reflection W7T1

Numeracy- For numeracy we have been learning 2 digit times tables. I found this activity hard because I didn't get the way to work it out until the end of maths! We had to complete some questions on maths buddy and work them out in our maths book.

Literacy Reflection W7T1

Literacy- We created a google drawing about Shantytown. We had to write some facts about Shantytown for example - Shantytown is a historical place on the West Coast. It has lots of signs you can read. Then we had to write an introduction about Shantytown. In our introduction we had to use the 5 W's. I learnt how to write an detailed introduction which will help with writing paragraphs

Literacy- For literacy we created a spine poem. For this literacy task you pick 4 or 6 books and put them together and use the titles to create the poem! The fun thing is your poem doesn't have to make sense because it is made out of titles and of course it won't make sense if you put them together.



Word Work- For word work we had to decode and use in a sentence. I found this task a little hard because we had to find the meaning and then write it in a sentence.
