Literacy/Numeracy Reflection W4

Word Work - This week I done same thing. Origins, Sentences and Definations. I completed all of them into my slide. Make sure you look at the top of the slide for the week that we are in! 



Literacy - This week for literacy I completed my summary for the story Harakeke! 




Literacy - This is my 3rd literacy task. We had to Why it is good to use Harakeke?




Numeracy - This week for numeracy Miss Reissmann gave us 2 digit by 2 digit questions and we had to complete them.

Numeracy- For numeracy we have been learning 2 digit times tables. I found this activity hard because I didn't get the way to work it out until the end of maths! We had to complete some questions on maths buddy and work them out in our maths book.

For numeracy we have been put into to 2 groups one half is Mrs Prendergast and one half with Miss Panther. I am in Miss Panthers maths group. This week we worked on Maths Buddy and Studdyladder. We also had to write our goals down on a drawing!

T1WK 2 Reflection!

Literacy- For Literacy this week we had to write list on a topic. I got 2 Lists done. The first one was 10 things you should know about me! The second list was Top 15 singers I would like to meet and why! 

Here are some facts from my first called Things you should know about me!  

1. I looove to ride a 2 wheel motorbike because I have been brought up to know how!
2. My favourite subject is Maths because times is easy!
3. I love to play virus at Lunch because I like running!

Here are some facts from my second list called Top 15 singers I would like to meet!

1. I would like to meet Stan Walker because I love listening to his music and he has great albums.
2. I would like to meet Bon Jovi because his songs are really upbeat. My favourite song by him is Summer of 69.
3. Shania Twain because her songs are really country wise!

Numeracy- For numeracy we done some graphing in our books because the year 5's weren't signed into their chromebooks.

 First we had to pick a Topic to do it on, Allie and I picked Favourite sport in Mamaku for the girls. Then we went around the classroom asking all the girls what there favourite sports were out of our Category. Then on the next page we had to draw a L and put numbers up the longer side, you had to put a number more than the highest category. Then you had to write all the Categories under the short bit and then you had to draw a line up to how many people voted for that one. If you wanted to you could colour it in.

Drama- This week for drama I got there late because I had milk. But when I got there we got told to get into groups and come up with a sentence and then someone in the group would be a different emotion.

Te Reo- For te reo this week we filled out our mihi's. We also got told to get into pairs and read our mihis to each other. I read  mine to Jazmine and she read hers to me!

NUMERACY- For numeracy this week we worked on our problem solving! I completed 6 activitys I found some hard and some easy!

Area and perimeter- This week my group had a activity called Sweet boxes. For this activity we had to show 3 ways to work it out. I was the leader because Alex Cl was away.

Dazzler digs on-For numeracy we had to do a task working out some questions about a dog and his bones. Jazmine and I helped each other working it out.



Fractions-For numeracy we also had to figure out some questions like 1/2 of 20=10 and show our working out. Me, Jazmine and Josh helped each other with this follow up.
