Synchronized swimming- For our last Olympics task we had to choose a sport and find out what you need and the rules. I chose to do Synchronized swimming because I like swimming. This is what I found out.

Characters:Squishy Talylor, Baby brother,Twin sisters Mum, Dad, Mr Hangot and Not Harry.

I really like this book because he is feeding the orphan some food and she doesn't want anyone to find out but her Step twin sisters find out and pinkie promise not to tell Mum and Dad. But when Mr Hagot finds out he yells at the girls but Mum and Dad still don't find out because they are asleep back at there appartment. To get back at Mr Hagot the put fake poo on his welcome mat when he walks on it he doesn't notice and he walks down all the steps of all the appartments and it begins to stink so bad that....

I would give this book a rating of 10 out of 10 stars

Book week 2016

We have had lots of fun activites this week!!

On Tuesday night Mrs Costello had a PJ party in Nga Manawa. Before we got there mum put some pipe cleaners in Me and Aimees hair so we looked so wacky. When we got there we had to write our names on a peice of paper and then put them in a bag. Then me and Lara got a bean bag and we listened to Miss Lagan read a story and Kenzie kept on trying to sit with Miss Lagan and help her it was really funny! Then Mrs Costello picked three names out of the hat and they went to Miss Power and got a treat! Then some of us went outside and played Crazy tag. After that Lara went home so I decied that I wanted to read to Mum so I did. Some of the teachers were in there onsies Miss panther was a bee, Mrs O sullivin was a flamingo, Mrs Costello was a Giraffe, Miss Langan had teddy bears on her PJ's and My mum Kylee had dogs. Then Mum, Aimee and I went home.

On Thursday it was Wacky Thursday and I had a decorated cloak hanger to put in my hair it was really hard to get throught doorways because it was so wide and it was like an extra head. I also had my sweater on and my t-shirt inside out and back the front on top of my sweater I thought it was really wacky. Miss Panther was wearing a cookie monster onsie and in her pocket she had a fake biscuit, Miss Leigh was a bumbly bee with wings. At morning tea I took my tights off so I wouldn't get hot doing the Olympics. It was really funny doing the Olympics with a coat hanger in my hair because at the running relays it was bobbying up and down.

On friday we had book character day and the whole school had to dress up as there favourite book character I chose to dress up as Mickey mouse because he was my favourite book character from when I was a little girl. The thing that I don't like is that when I sit down the tail hurts me. My sister dressed up as Fern from Charlettes web her hair looks fabulous because its all teased.This year I had ears for Micky and I had a black nose with whiskers.

For our door display we had Charlie and the chocolate factory and The Bfg. My favourite door is Charlie and the chocolate factory because we made the Olmpa Loopa it kind of looks a bit creepy because it's face looks like it is staring at you! I also like the BFG because the potions look so real. I helped make the potions it was really fun!!

Reflection Numeracy T3W3

NUMERACY-For numeracy we had to complete our follow up. Our follow up was to convert improper and mixed fractions. I found it a little bit hard.

Olympics Reflection T3W3

Olympics!-This week we have been completing some more Olympics activities. We had to complete 3 more this week so we have completed 5. For my last 3 this week I done Compare and Contrast, Inspirational story and Para athlete. I found it difficult to find some imfomation because you had to double check if it said the right thing. All the Web sites I used worked realy well and told me lots of imfomation about that Athletes.

I rate this book 10/10 because it is really cool and I would reccomend this to children 9 and older.

Here is a joke from the book that I thought was hallerious!!

 " Snail, I've got a job to do. Would you give me a hand?" Snails says "Sure Hamster what are you making?" Hamsters says" A spaceship". "Have fun Snail!" ( Hamster walks away!)

Term 3 W2 Reflection

OLYMPIC PROFILES!!

This week Mamaku 2&3 have been very busy doing some Olympic profiles. We had to research a New Zealand athlete and write down the imformation we found about them. When we were finished that we had to do the same thing but research a country that is particapating in the Olympics. I used these things in a google drawing to make it look good, background colour, web paint, word art and text boxes to write my imformation in. I found it a little hard to find out imfomation about the person because we had to find out their weight and height. I found it a little easier to find imfomation about the country because we only had to find facts and imfomation about that country. Next time I want to find more imfomation about the Countries that I don't know alot about because it be really cool to be able tell people some facts about countries.

NUMERACY- For numracy we had 2 follow ups, our follow ups were to use screencastify and record ourselves playing a adding fractions game. We also had a follow up were we had to add and subtract fractions.

This is my other follow up which I had to add and sub some fractions and figure out what box the fraction will go in. I found this just a little bit hard and I have learnt how to add and subtract fractions.
