SLJ - Going, Going... gone

GOING, GOING... GONE

For this activity we had to write a blog post pretending New Zealand is going to sink to the bottom of the ocean next week. I chose to write about most of the places I have been in New Zealand!

  1. Kia ora Katelynn,

Life in New Zealand really is absolutely, outstandingly amazing, I couldn't agree with you more! We're honestly so fortunate to be able to call this beautiful country home. I love that you have listed cities that people could go and visit. From your list, I have been to Auckland (born and raised there), Wellington, Hamilton, Rotorua, and just like you, I have also visited the centre of New Zealand in Nelson. Did you enjoy your trip to Hamilton and did you get a chance to visit Auckland while you were up there? I'm glad you mentioned the people here. I've been to other countries and I still think that Kiwis are the friendliest bunch of people!

Have you been on a cruise in New Zealand before? My parents have been many times but I haven't been before so I'm definitely looking to experience it sometime in the next few years. I love that you have done extra research and inserted useful facts and information about the places you have been to. I enjoy going to visit markets so will definitely pop over to check out your Sunday markets the next time I visit Greymouth, thank you for suggesting it.

It must be nice living in a place where the population is only 13,550 people. Here in Auckland, we have 1.614 MILLION! You see people everywhere in Auckland; on buses, trains, in the park, library, shopping malls but it also means that you get to meet a lot of new people and make some awesome friends!

Do you like theme parks? We have one here in Auckland called Rainbow's End. I've been there a few times and it's been a fantastic experience every time. Perhaps you and Aimee could come check it out in the future! Yes, good reminder Katelynn, we must always remember to protect ourselves from the harsh sun that shines over New Zealand. I've never been to Christchurch before but I would love to visit if I ever got the chance!

Once again, you've done a superb job with this activity. I can tell that you have spent a lot of time and put in a lot of effort into it, well done!

    Keep up the hard work,
    Evelyn :)

  2. Hello Evelyn

Thank you for commenting on my blog and giving me some advice!

I did, very much enjoy our trip to Hamilton and we did go to Auckland and went to the sky tower! It was amazing! It is quite good having a small population of people. Yes I love theme parks my family and I actually went to Australia last year and it was awesome.
