Year 8 Lunch Preparing

YEAR 8 LUNCH PREPARING...

On the 12th December (Yesterday) a few others and I helped Mr B, Mrs Hooker and Michelle get ready for the Year 8 Lunch. We had to wash, peel, chop and cook different veges. I also help Michelle wash the the grapes and cut and peel some of the fruits and cheese, then we placed them onto the platters. Reagan, Mia, Ruby and I also washed the lettuce and some other things while the others were in the garden. Then we set the tables, we put plates, knifes, forks, candy canes and napkins on the table then I went around and folded all of the napkins and placed the knifes and forks on each napkin neatly. Then we took the ham out of the oven, put the salads and platters on the tables. Then Aimee, Reagan, Mia, Ruby and I filled the cups up and there were choices of Orange Juice, Old fashion lemonade and water we started taking it around on a trolley thingy but then realised we couldn't get it through the ends of the tables so Aimee went and got some oven trays and we took the drinks around on that, then once we had no cups left we went around and refilled everybody's cups with either orange juice or water because we had run out of old fashioned lemonade. After a we while all the Year 8's, Teachers and Guests were allowed to get there food. Then after a while we took the Rhubarb and Apple crumble out of the oven, got the ice cream, sprinkles, strawberry wafers and chocolate sauce ready, we also got the Santa plates out and then everybody lined up to get there pudding. I was on giving everybody a plate. After everybody had eaten we got to have the left overs! I had goody goody gumdrops ice cream with some Rhubarb and Apple crumble and CHOCOLATE SAUCE! It was so good! After that we had to wash up but by then it was near the end of school pretty much they end of school and I had to go to the Platinum Mainstar Award shared food after school so I couldn't help tidy up.
