I got the 2 images from the summer learning journey site - Link
For this activity I asked my family what they think on Countdowns decision to ban plastic bags. What is your opinion on Countdowns banning of plastic bags?
My name is Mikey. I'm a member of the Summer Learning Journey team, along with Allie, Evelyn and Hasiba. It looks like you've been very busy, completing lots of activities. I'm excited to read them! :)
What a wonderful, environmentally conscious family you have. :) I agree with you all. No longer offering plastic bags is a huge step in the right direction towards reducing our pollution levels. I've also started using bamboo toothbrushes and shampoo and conditioner bars to reduce the amount of plastic I buy. Did you know that one shampoo bar is equivalent to FIVE plastic bottles of shampoo?! Isn't that amazing? Do you and your family do any little environmentally friendly things like that?
Greetings Katelynn! My name is Chavda. I go to Panmure Bridge School. I am participating in the summer learning journey! I have 230 comments so far. Your DLO looks very colorful. That's good you asked your family members of why it is or isn't good that New Zealand doesnt have plastic bags.
I think this was a cool was to present this activity. I really like how you used sooooooooooooooo much colour that made it eye catching. Next time you could add more information in some of the boxes. This was another amazing post Katelynn.
I will take your advice Millah and next time I do this activity or something similar I will use it. Thank you Millah, I will try to keep my blog post's as interesting as possible.
Hey Katelynn You're family seem pretty keen on non plastic bags mine are to I think lots of people in NZ are happy to. I want it to happen world wide and at all supermarkets dairy's and shops don't you? Thanks Rikki :) x
It would be great if the whole world banned plastic bags. There would be no rubbish anywhere. That would be A-MAZ-ING! It's great to here your family remember to use non plastic bags. Keep up the great commenting Rikki! Your advice really helps.
