  1. Kia ora Katelynn,

Nice work on your blog post about charities. I think the SPCA is an excellent choice! Do you have a dog or any pets yourself? My parents adopted a dog, a miniature Papillon, from the SPCA. He is ridiculously cute.

I like how the image you have chosen has so many different animals. Although, I would be surprised if the SPCA were rescuing any snakes, bears, or wolves in New Zealand! If you could have any animal in the world as a pet, which would you choose?

Thanks for sharing, and keep up the good work :)

    1. Kia Ora Beren,

My family have had many pets, I love animals especially dogs and would really love to live on my own farm when I'm older and have heaps of animals.

If I could have any animal in the world as a pet I would have a dog, wolf or a dolphin. It is so hard to choose when all animals are so cool.

Here is a list of all the pets we've had/have.

      - 2 Dogs (Gypsy and Echo)
      - 1 Cat (Boots)
      - 2 Pigs (Porky and Rusty)
      - 1 Possum (Poppy)
      - 3 Bunnies (Snow, Cookies and Cream and Bugs the Bunny)

We have thought about getting a goat but haven't yet, but you never know we could have one in the future!

What did your parents name your dog?

  2. Hi Katelynn,

Apparently swimming with a Dolphin is one of the coolest things you can do! A pet Dolphin would be so exciting, I imagine you would need a pretty big swimming pool to look after it though.

And wow! That is quite a cool list of pets! And great names too, what is it like having a pet pig?

Our dogs name is Shaki, but he also responds to Poochie.

    1. Hi Beren,

Having a pet pig is fun a part from when they escape! Have you ever had a unusual pet before? Swimming with a dolphin would be so much fun! Shaki, what a cool name!
