My Poem

The excitement in our bodys as the plane landed.

Families screaming and yelling! 
So excited to see there loved ones.

The trip was long but short
The late nights and early mornings
Making us tired 

We finally arrived home! Yay!

    Hi Katelynn!

    This is a really great poem about the trip across the Tasman!
    Sounds like you might have had some practise at writing poems in class? What other poems have you written?

    I really like the ending: "We finally arrived home! Yay!" I think that I would have felt so thankful to land after a ride like that....I might even be kissing the ground! What do you think the first thing they might have done would be? I think I would want to eat a big meal with my family and friends.
