Summer Learning Journey ~ Dealing with stress

2 comments:

  1. Hi Katelynn

I couldn't think of a better way to deal with stress than reading a book! I'm with you on that one. I really like to go and lye down on my bed and read. Or if its a really nice sunny day then outside on my deck.

What a great Christmas present to get !! Lucky you!
You must just about have all of the David Walliams books.
Which one is your favourite so far? Have you read them all or are you still making your way through them?

I don't think I could pick a favourite. I haven't read Bad Dad yet, and I will have to make sure I get it for the library.

Well done Katelynn, I really like you presentation of this activity.

    Good work!!

    Until next time

    Allie :)

  2. Kia ora Katelynn,

My name is Emiely (pronounced "Emily") and along with Allie, I'm another blogger at the Summer Learning journey!

Reading a book is a great way to deal with stress! It's a great way to calm down and transport yourself into a different world. Sometimes we just need some quite time alone to de-stress and we can come back feeling refreshed.

When I'm stressed, I often go for a big bush walk. Removing myself from technology and surrounding myself in the sights and sounds of nature helps to calm me down. I know that there are some beautiful scenic and nature places in the West Coast. Can you think of any beautiful places in the West Coast to share with me?

    Keep up the great blogging!

    Noho ora mai,

    Emiely :)
