Summer Learning Journey ~ Offering a helping hand

 Offering a helping hand

1.If I lived in the 1930s I would help out by helping everyone in the community with little jobs like, stitching holes in there clothing, fetching there water, gathering food for there familes.

2.I would also help people apply for jobs so they could earn money like a counselor MAYBE even a CEO of a business!

3. I would try and get people to learn how to do a lot of different things to make money like nitting clothes and other different activities!

  1. Hi Katelynn

You would be a very good helper in a community. People would not be able to afford new clothes, so if you could help people by fixing their old ones that would be fantastic.
Being the person that they could come and talk to is also a great thing to offer for other people.
Your last activity you talked about dealing with stress. Imagine how stressful their lives might have been in the 1930's if they were short of food, clothing and other important items. So offering this service for free would be amazing.

    Great work Katelynn
I look forward to reading your posts over the summer.

    Until next time

    Allie :)
