Enlarging an image by a scale factor: Katelynn and Angelina

Maths DLO - Enlarging an image by a scale factor - Katelynn and Angelina

This week we have been learning how to enlarge a shape. Angelina and I decided to work together and we made this DLO. We chose a cartoon character (Mario) and he takes you along the journey of learning how to enlarge a shape.

  1. Hi Katelynn! My name is Mia from Yaldhurst Model School. I really like the way that you have made the slide colorful and eye catching. The explanation was clear and easy to understand with pictures along the way.

This reminds me of when we were doing the same thing, I remember doing it with cubes and 3d shapes as well.
To improve your blog post I think that you should try making it on something else like Canva, Visme, and other creative websites that could make your already awesome blog, mind-blowing!
How long did it take to do the DLO?
    Great work!

It took Angelina and I about 2 maths sessions to get this done. Yes next time I will definitely try and use a cool site! What one to your prefer I use Canva or Visme?

Thank you once again Mia for commenting on my blog!

To make your blog post on a better platform you could go onto Canva, Piktochart? Our class (Rimu) are very experienced with all these website.
