I got the 2 images off the summer learning journey site - Link
For this activity we had to decide whether or not they should restrict some tourists attractions. I think that they should and shouldn't read my presentation to find out why.
It's a tricky one isn't it? I'm a little bit on the fence (undecided) myself. Like you, I can see why the government has restricted the number of visitors. After all, Machu Picchu is a huge part of Peru's history and it would be sad to see it damaged so badly as to not exist anymore. But if you were planning a trip to South America (like I hope to one day) and you found out you weren't able to visit one of it's most famous sites, you'd be rather disappointed. I guess that just means people have to be extra well prepared and plan their holiday in advance. Would you like to visit Machu Picchu one day?
Well done on completing another activity Katelynn. You're posts are a joy to read. :)
Definitely! It's on my bucket list. :) From what I've heard, it takes some time to get there but it's worth it. I'd really like to go to the Rainbow Mountains in Peru as well. Have you seen pictures? They look amazing!
Hey Katelynn I'm caught in the middle as well but I leaned a bit more closer to no I don't think its fair there should be a little rescriction but not a big one because other wise it just wouldn't be fair. Don't ya think? Thanks Rikki x :)
I agree there should be a little restriction but not a lot. But just imagine going to an amazing place like this and people are just damaging stuff. That would be terrible. So I think a LITTLE restriction would be good not just for the broken things but for the people wanting to check this awesome place out.
